Hi Patti,
All the best on your trip! I look forward to hearing about your adventures in London. I think Dallas Seitz owns a gallery there now - hopefully you will have time to track it down.

Patti,
Hope you get out into the forests and fields as well! Enjoy the lambs, beer, accents, daffodils ... oh yes, and the art!
Looking forward to following your journey...

Hi Patti,
Greetings from the expansive flat lands of Calgary.
We met Barton easily at the airport. I had my BARTON sign held up high and as he said, you can't help but see your own name - its magnetic. He was in very good form and had lots of energy. We drove him on a quick tour of the campus - I pointed out how to find the art department above the parking lots - and then went to your house and had a beer with Bob. Then Bob took the four of us out for dinner which was really nice. We ate your favourite dinner - steak sandwich, garlic mash potatoes and roast veggies - so now you know where we went! Delicious I have to say.
Barton is going to have a great time - I can tell. He said he'd met you without incident at Heathrow and given you a quick tour. When we left it was 2:30AM London time, so we figured you had crashed on the other side of the Atlantic and Barton was ready to.
I am looking forward to hearing how you are making out over there. From Barton's description it sounds like you are in a very interesting area of the city.
This afternoon Stephen and I very spontaneously rented an apartment in town - a bright and sunny one! - and now I am working on my painting, hoping to have it finished soon. Its sunny, a bit cooler but really nice here.
Linda is organizing the ladies tea at ACAD and said they are missing you this year. I said I would go if I could.
Hope all is well - look LEFT at the corners!
Cheers,
Jennifer
